Lyman Runabout 20' "Perfect Evening" 1954

The boat was purchased in September of 2010 from an individual who was the original owner. The boat was used on Lake Bomoseen in Vermont. Since 2010, it has been kept on Lake George. It has always been docked under a canopy and stored in a garage in the winter. Since 2010 it has been taken in for repairs every couple of years. In July 2018, the bottom was sanded three times and painted with three coats of copper bronze paint. The transom was stripped, sanded, bleached, and stained, and wood sealer was applied, followed by ten coats of varnish. In December 2018 and January 2019 - replaced the starboard side covering board. The decks were sanded, sides of the boat were sanded. Varnish was applied to the decks, and three coats of white paint were applied to the sides. In May 2019, the engine had a complete tune-up, including rebuilding both carburetors. A compression test was done on all cylinders 1 - 110 psi, 2 - 140 psi, 3, 4, and 5 were at 130 psi, and 6 was at 120 psi. The boat is very complete but needs several frames replaced and some bottom planks replaced. This is a perfect restoration candidate and has just been reduced to reflect the needed work. $2,500.
